The Connect Drive plugin allows the Photo & File Proofing feature for the Gallery and Review & Approve module. It lets people look at Google Drive photos or files on your website and tell the admin which ones they like, reject, or approve.
Enable Google Drive Photo Proofing
To implement Google Drive Photo Proofing, we need to use Connect Drive’s Gallery module. Follow the steps below to understand how the process works.
- Navigate to Google Drive
- Go to Module Builder
- Click Add New Module
- Select Gallery
- Choose the preferred images for photo proofing
- Navigate to the Permissions tab
- Enable Photo Proofing
Configure Additional Settings
- Button Text: Enter the text for the proofing submit button.
- Maximum Selection: Enter the maximum number of items that can be selected. Leave empty for no limit.
- Enable Tags: Allow users to add tags to their selections.
- Available Tags: Create and select the tags that users can use.
- Filter Users & Roles: Select users & roles who can select files for proofing.
Enable Google Drive File Proofing
To implement Google Drive File Proofing, we need to use Connect Drive’s Review & Approve module. Follow the steps below to understand how the process works.
- Navigate to Google Drive
- Go to Module Builder
- Click Add New Module
- Select Review & Approve
- Choose the preferred files for file proofing
- Navigate to the Permissions tab
- Move on to File Proofing settings
Configure Additional Settings
- Button Text: Enter the text for the proofing submit button.
- Maximum Selection: Enter the maximum number of items that can be selected. Leave empty for no limit.
- Enable Tags: Allow users to add tags to their selections.
- Available Tags: Create and select the tags that users can use.
- Filter Users & Roles: Select users & roles who can select files for proofing.
Display Modules
To display any of the modules, follow the steps below:
- Click on the Embed button
- Copy Shortcode
- Paste it inside any page or post.
Users can now participate in photo or file proofing to submit their thoughts.
Review Proofing Submission
After users submit their reviews, admins can check the reviews for approval from the Proofing Submission menu. Follow the steps below to understand how the process works.
- Navigate to Google Drive
- Proofing Submissions
Here you can view a list of proofing submissions submitted by users for review and approval. You can export submissions in bulk by selecting multiple records, delete bulk data, filter by module, user, or date, and review individual submissions with complete details, along with other management options.
